Ace vs the Rockhawk – the musical
So stay with me on this… Myself and good friend Hendo have come up with an idea of making a rock opera somewhere between Meatloaf and Conan the Barbarian, involving a nomadic warrior ‘Ace’ and his eternal battle with the evil catastrophic force of the Rockhawk. I had a super sweet drawing I did once of a a guy with a massive Hawkhead and wings, with a giant golden sword, standing ontop of mountain of skulls, with a buxom babe wrapped around his thighs (saucy) and lightning cascading into his open claw raised aloft to the heavens… but i lost it. So heres a ropey watercolour of a Hawk I found until I get around to redrawing it with ADDED MAJESTY.
Here are some inital ‘theme’ ideas for sections of the musical. I will periodically update with new movements. Casting will be held atop mount Olympus when the 7th moon divides Orion’s belt.
